Amy Kern, RPh
Amy grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the small town of Bessemer. She experienced first-hand what it was like to be a part of a family business. Her parents owned a local Dairy Queen, where she learned how to dip dilly bars and flip burgers.

She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at North Dakota State University in Fargo. Upon graduation, she packed up and moved to Charlotte and it has been her home ever since. Although far from family, Amy loves Charlotte's warm weather and friendly people.

Julie Whitsett, RPh
Julie Whitsett grew up in Eden, NC. Upon graduating from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 1990 she got married and began her career in Greenville, SC.

She has two children, Taylor age 16, and Jay, age 14. In 2002, a job change brought her family to the Charlotte area. She has worked for Walker's Drug Store for the past 6 years. She enjoys the personable, friendly service that an independent pharmacy offers.
