Walker’s Drug Store is dedicated to providing the best individual service in the Charlotte area. In addition to the pharmaceutical services one can expect from many drug stores, we at Walker’s Drug Store proudly offer some additional, and unique, pharmacy services.

Fast and Friendly Service

You can count on Walker’s Drug Store to provide the most comprehensive, friendly, and efficient service you can find! Even without automated dispensing units, like many modern drugs stores have, the average time it takes to fill between 2-3 prescriptions is only about 10 minutes. This time, of course, varies depending on the situation. In addition, our diverse staff, many of who have been with us for many years now, can be expected to be extremely capable and understanding to your needs.

Copies and Faxing

Fax:

$.50 for local fax / $1.00 for long distance (Flat Rates)

Copies:

Black/white copies are $0.07 each and color copies are $.69 each (break in price after 100 copies).

Our fax machine and copier are available for public use during normal business hours. We only accept cash for copies and faxing.

Delivery

$3.00 Flat-Rate Fee

No Charge to Nursing Homes

To those individuals for whom deliver is a necessity, or just a preference, Walker’s Drug Store has been offering inexpensive, wide-radius deliver to the Charlotte area circa 1968.

Diabetic Supplies

Walker's Drug Store offers a wide variety of diabetic supplies. For Medicare patients, these supplies are billed to Medicare and may not have a copay if there is secondary insurance.

Prescription Tax Printouts

Did you know that many medical expenses may be deducted from your end-of-year taxes, prescription expenses included?! Walker’s Drug Store is happy to provide free, and fast, prescription tax printouts at any time for any year.

Shipping

If you have a package you need shipped, but don't have time to drive to the nearest facility, Walker's Drgu Store can provide a convenient alternative to your shipping needs! Please have all your items pre-packaged. We will also ship prescriptions filled at our store anywhere in the US. UPS packages can only be shipped from the Colwick location and US Postal Service packages from our Ballantyne location.

Special OTC Ordering

Part of Walker’s Drug Store’s success may be attributed to our ability to order over-the-counter (OTC) items, and even certain prescription medications, that simply cannot be found anywhere else. If you are having difficulty locating a certain pharmacy-related product, or even if you are feeling nostalgic for an item you long thought had been discontinued, we may be able to help! Please just give us a call and one of our many staff members will be happy to assist you.
